When testing is initiated from the Test Run Overview screen, testing preparation screens will prompt you to specify whether you want to do automated testing, manual testing, or both. Although axe Auditor has primarily been designed for manual accessibility testing, it will also perform automatic testing for accessibility issues, either in conjunction with manual testing, or as a standalone type of testing.
Until skipped, such prompts will be about both types of testing, and their naming differs only depending on whether or not you have initiated the testing of either a Component or a Page. Select one of the following subtopics accordingly:
