Using the Dashboard
The Dashboard worksheet provides a high-level overview of the assessment results in a graphic format. It is designed to provide valuable data to a broad audience, including Executives, Project Managers, Designers, Developers and Subject Matter Experts.
An assessor will not need to enter any information on this worksheet. All data tables and charts are pre-populated based on formulas and data linkage.
Global Results
Overall WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria (SC) Compliance
Overall WCAG 2.0 Success Criteria (SC) Compliance reflects the number of SC the entire Assessment Satisfied or Failed. There are 38 SC between Level A (25) and Level AA (13).
It is important to note that, if the assessment includes 50 WCAG Issues but ALL are associated with 1 SC, the Overall WCAG 2.0 SC Compliance % appear to indicate a high level of compliance (97% Satisfied or 37/38). However, if the 50 Issues are Serious or Critical in nature, and affect multiple pages, the website or application may be unusable for users with disabilities. When determining the overall Accessibility Health and Level of Effort for Compliance, please refer to all data points. It only takes one "High Risk" User Impact Issue to increase your vulnerability to legal action.
WCAG 2.0 Issues
Issues are identified in a variety of categories including WCAG, Best Practice and User Agent. To be considered compliant only WCAG Issues must be resolved; however, we encourage all clients to review and remediate all identified issues in the spirit of digital equality.
The WCAG 2.0 Issues chart provides three data points:
- The total number of Issues found that fail the WCAG Success Criteria/Checkpoint requirements
- How many Issues fall into the Level A and Level AA Success Criteria categories
- The average number of Issues per page

By default we associate each identified Issue with a user Impact category: Critical, Serious, Moderate, and Minor. Both Critical and Serious issues are considered "High Risk" with greater effect on usability and greater vulnerability to legal action. This data point is available by default, but it is optional and can be hidden via the Setup & Scope worksheet. When determining an assessment's overall Accessibility Health this data should hold significant weight.
[Critical]{.underline}: This issue results in blocked content for individuals with disabilities. Until a solution is implemented content will be completely inaccessible, making your organization highly vulnerable to legal action. Remediation should be a top priority.
[Serious]{.underline}: This issue results in serious barriers for individuals with disabilities. Until a solution is implemented some content will be inaccessible, making your organization vulnerable to legal action. Users relying on Assistive Technology will experience significant frustration when attempting to access content. Remediation should be a priority.
[Moderate]{.underline}: This issue results in some barriers for individuals with disabilities but would not prevent them from accessing fundamental elements or content. This might make your organization vulnerable to legal action. This issue must be resolved before a page can be considered fully compliant.
[Minor]{.underline}: This is considered an Accessibility issue that yields less impact for users than a moderate issue. For a page to be considered fully compliant this issue must be resolved but can be dealt with last.
Top 10 WCAG 2.0 & Deque Checkpoint Issues
The Top 10 data is generated to quickly identify the Success Criteria and Checkpoints with the largest remediation impacts. This data can also be utilized when prioritizing training and accessibility knowledge gaps.
