Marking All Complete
When you have completed the audit for the test unit, it is possible that you didn’t find issues to be reported on certain checkpoints. Those checkpoints will continue to show their status as ‘Not Started’ in axe Auditor. In order to indicate that your testing has actually covered these checkpoints, and you don’t have any issues to report against them, they need to be marked ‘Complete’. You can do that as part of your regular testing process when you are going through each checkpoint. Axe Auditor also provides you a quick action to mark all such checkpoints as ‘Complete’ in a single operation.
To change the status of all checkpoints that don’t have any more issues to report:
To mark all complete:
- In the top, right corner of the Checkpoint Tests for Page:<Page Name> screen, click the mark all complete button.
The Mark All Tests Complete for Page:<Page Name> screen appears, prompting you to verify results and confirm the requested action.
Caution: For all checkpoint tests that do not have assigned results or issues added, the result to be assigned will be 'Pass'. For those without a result that do have issues added, the result to be assigned will be 'Fail'.
- On the Mark All Tests Complete for Page:<Page Name> screen, click the Yes, Mark All Complete button.
- This takes you back to the Checkpoint Tests for Page: <Page Name> screen. Here, you can do one of the following, as desired:
- Click the Go to the Next Incomplete Page link to go to the next incomplete page. This link appears if all the units in the test run are not complete.
- Click the Go to the Test Run Overview link to view the current state of the test run this page is a part of.
