Saving a Manual Review
In the case on an identified potential issue where the analysis process cannot determine a specific violation, the axe Expert Extension will bring this to your attention in the form of a textual alert message in the right results pane of the Analyze panel when a violation is displayed. Technically, such an issue is not a rule violation, and the red text provides a reason for the uncertainty.
When a potential identified issue requiring manual review, you are prompted to make a determination and save the result on the right results pane of the Analyze panel.

On the right results pane of the Analyze panel, under the We are not sure this is an issue, because: pane, select either the This is an issue or the This is not an issue option.
If you selected the This is an issue option, a new text entry field appears for the purpose of providing a description containing details of how and/or why you arrived at the determination that it was in fact an issue as a result of your manual testing.

Optionally, if you selected the This is an issue, type, or paste from virtual clipboard, a text-based reason for your determination in the Provide an issue description: field.

SAVE
.The section heading text changes to Issue has been reviewed and if provided, your description is displayed along with Edit and Clear links.
Important: Reviewed issues are stored in a session and will be remembered for subsequent tests. The session is cleared when you close your browser. When testing multiple websites, we recommend you clear the session in between tests.

Navigate to a subsequent violation of the current rule using the navigation buttons at the top of the right pane, or select a different rule from the violated rules pane at left.
