Rule

Support services MUST be provided directly to the user or through a referral to a point of contact. Such ICT support services MUST accommodate the communication needs of individuals with disabilities.

Background

When Support Services are not able to communicate effectively with people with disabilities, they may not be able to get the product support that they need.

How to Fix

To fix this issue, ensure that Support Service functions provide communication methods that meet the needs of disabilities. For example, a method is available for a person who is Deaf to communicate with Support Services.
