Deleting a component from a test case id done by activating a red X button to the right of the component you want to remove within the # Components Defined table on the Common Components panel. This can be done to a previously-added component either while creating a new test case, or while editing a previously-created test case. For more information about either starting path to this procedure, see Creating a New Test Case, or Editing a Test Case.

To delete a component:

  1. Activate the Common Components tab to navigate to the Add Components panel.

  2. In the # Components Defined table at right, activate the red X icon (delete button) to the right of the component you want to remove (for example, Component #2).

    Removing a Component

The component row is removed from the # Components Defined section table. The order of the other components in the list remains otherwise unchanged.

  3. If desired, reorder the pages in the # Components Defined table.

For more information, see Reordering Components. 4. Activate the Save Test Case button.
