What's New
Knowledge Base
We have curated a comprehensive Knowledge Base featuring articles on common scenarios and best practices for our products. Access the Knowledge Base using your existing login credentials that you use to login to the products.
Full Group Name Display on Hover
In the Groups tab on the Issues list page, the full group name now appears when users hover over the group name in the Summary column. Previously, the incomplete display of the group name caused users to miss the full name, leading to confusion.
Enhanced Help Icon with Support Portal
The "Need Help?" icon has been upgraded to a drop-down menu, and now features an additional Support Portal option. This new option redirects users to the site, support.deque.com, where they can access the knowledge base, documentation, and create and work with support tickets. The existing Documentation option remains unchanged, directing users to the appropriate context-sensitive topics.
New Screenshot Column in Issues List Page
Currently, users must open each issue individually to check for attached screenshots, as there is no way to see this information directly in axe Auditor. This has now been solved and a new column has been added to the Issues list page to indicate whether an issue has screenshots attached. If an issue has attached screenshots, a View button will be displayed in the Screenshots column. Clicking the View button will display the screenshots associated with the issue.
Configurable Email Address for Support
Currently, when an error or access-related issue occurs in axe Auditor, all users are directed to contact helpdesk@deque.com. With the new update, the email address can be configured to use a custom support email address provided by the client during installation or upgrade. This allows their users to contact the client's support team directly. If no custom email address is provided, the default Deque support email address is shown.
Known Issues
-
When users who are not logged into axe Auditor attempt to view screenshots in the Issues page in an incognito browser by clicking on the "View" button, the screenshots do not display.
Workaround: Ensure that you are logged in to axe Auditor before attempting to access the Issues page in an incognito browser..
-
On the View Issues page, clicking the delete button multiple times when deleting a comment displays multiple delete notifications, even though the comment is only deleted once.
Workaround: Avoid clicking the delete button multiple times as clicking it once successfully deletes the comment.
-
The filter function is not working on the Checkpoint tab for flagged issues.
-
Performing automated testing on a component behind an iFrame throws an error, and the loading icon is displayed indefinitely.
-
Trying to update a test run without filling mandatory fields results in the axe-core field value (which is read-only) changing to an unreadable format, causing confusion.
Workaround: Successfully completing all mandatory fields and updating the test run will correctly update the axe-core value.
