Schedule Scan

Axe Monitor scans run automatically at a time and frequency that you choose, You can set the scan to run only once, weekly, or monthly. By default, scans are set to “Does not repeat (one-time).”

You can also choose to skip scheduling by using the skip link.

Repeating scan schedules

Scans can be run every week/month, or less frequently, such as every 2 or 3 weeks/months.

Choose the specific day or days of the week when you want the scans to run.

• Start Date: Enter the date to run the first scan.
• Start Time: Enter the time (12-hour format) for the scheduler to start each scan run. Choose AM or PM.
• When should the schedule end
  • Never: Repeat the schedule indefinitely.
  • On a specific day: Enter the end date.
  • After a number of runs: Enter the number of scan runs after which the scheduler should stop.
• Automatically end scan if it exceeds a set duration: Optional. This is useful in cases when the website unintentionally prevents scanning from ending, such as an infinitely redirecting URL. Or, if you have many large scans running at the same time, this option can help ensure you receive results efficiently.
