You can delete, export, mark/unmark as issues and update the status for several results at once.

Before performing a bulk action, select all or individually select the issues you want to update.

Bulk Export

Issues can be exported as CSV or axe Universal JSON files.

CSV Export

  • When you select Export from the dropdown, a button to Configure Fields appears. To reduce the number of columns in your CSV file, select only the columns relevant to you.

  • When you select a Legacy (detailed or brief) option from the Export dropdown, you will receive CSV files in the same format as in previous versions of axe Monitor.

Select Apply to generate your download.

Note 1: When exporting issues (Legacy Detailed or Legacy Brief) using axe Monitor, you can export any number of issues at once. If the total exceeds 50,000, the issues are split into multiple CSV files, each containing up to 50,000 issues, and are downloaded together as a zip file.

Note 2: To filter accessibility issues from best practice issues, export the report using the Legacy Detailed option. In the CSV file, issues without a WCAG level or success criterion are Best Practice issues.

JSON Export

When you select Export to JSON and select Apply, a JSON file with your results will be downloaded. This file uses the axe Universal format.

Delete

Use this option with caution. When you select Delete and select Apply, deleted results cannot be reversed.

If a deleted issue is found again in the following scan run, the deleted issue will show as Open. To avoid this, you can instead unmark the issue.

Mark as Issues

Needs Review results can be marked as issues once you analyze them and determine they are valid accessibility issues.

To mark results as issues, select results and choose Mark as Issue from the Bulk Action dropdown. Select Apply, and confirm your action in the modal.

Unmark as Issues

Use the Unmark as Issue option when you are unsure if an issue is a valid accessibility problem.

To unmark issues, select results and choose Unmark as Issue from the Bulk Action dropdown. This returns the issue status to Needs Review.

Select Apply, and confirm your action in the modal.

Assign to User

When you select Assign to from the Bulk Action dropdown, an additional dropdown appears with the users who have access to this scan. Select a user and select the Apply button. In the confirmation modal, confirm or cancel your changes.

Issue assignments allow you to filter by issues assigned to a person, or allow the assignee to filter their Scans list by “View only my issues.”

Note: You can only assign one user to an issue.

Set Status

To update the status, select results and choose open, fixed, or ignored from the Bulk Action dropdown. Select Apply.
