In axe Monitor, permissions are granted for individual scans and scan groups, so that your team members can access precisely what they need. Monitor admins can create scan admins, members, and viewers.

Monitor Admin

Monitor admins have access to all scans and scan groups in axe Monitor. They can create, edit, and delete all scans and scan groups, and also assign access to scan groups.

The number of Monitor admins for an enterprise should generally be limited to no more than three. Usually, one individual and an alternate may be designated with this role.

An axe Account admin can add a person as a Monitor admin. To do so, make sure the person has accepted their email invite to axe Account. Once in axe Account navigate to the Users tab. Select the person to be made a Monitor admin and select the Edit Access (pencil) icon. You will be taken to the edit user access page. Under axe Monitor select the drop down in axe Monitor permissions and change the user from General Access to Admin. Select Next at the bottom of the page. Verify your changes and click Finish.

Add another Monitor admin to axe Account.

Scan Admin

Scan admins can create, run, edit, and delete scans they have access to. They can also:

  • Modify permissions for their scans.
  • Review, assign, and delete results.
  • Create exports.

Scan Member

Scan members can create and run scans they have access to. They can also:

  • Review, assign, and delete results.
  • Create exports.

Scan Viewer

Scan viewers can create scans. They cannot edit, run, or delete any scans. They can also:

  • Review and assign results.
  • Create exports.
