The appearance and available functionality of axe Monitor® may vary depending on the user type, device or platform used. If you encounter limited functionality, please contact your system administrator.

User Roles in axe® Account
System Administrator
The System Administrator oversees the entire axe Monitor® Enterprise server. This role involves creating Groups and appointing Group Administrators to manage those Groups. System Administrators have access to all groups, scans, and scan groups within the system. Typically, there should be no more than three System Administrators for an enterprise. Usually one individual and an alternate may be designated with this role.
To designate a person as a System Administrator, send a request to helpdesk@deque.com with the name and contact information, including their email address. This email is required only for the first System Administrator or when a System Administrator is unavailable.
Note: A System Administrator can appoint additional System Administrators.
User
Users manage specific scans within the enterprise. They have access only to those scans that they have created. These users can add Teams to Scans, edit Scan settings, view Scan Overview, Issues, and Pages, export Scan Overview, Pages, and Issues, and execute Scans.
User Roles in axe Monitor®
Scan Group Administrators
Scan Group Administrators are designated at the scan group level. They may be administrators of one scan group and only members in another. Responsibilities include setting standards within the scan group, designating additional administrators, creating membership scan groups, adding members to scans, and inviting Teams (group of users) to join a scan within their scan group.
Teams cannot access any scan data within the scan group unless specifically added as a Guest, Member, or Scan Group Administrator.
If there are no Scans in the Scan Group yet, a message appears indicating that some axe Monitor® functionality is unavailable because no scans have been created in the system, and to contact the system administrator.
Scan Group Members
Scan Group Members are designated at the scan group level and can access only those scans they have created or been assigned by the Scan Group Administrator. They can create and execute scans, view Scan Overview, Issues, and Pages, and export, delete, and edit Pages and Issues for their scans. Members can also add scans to Teams and view the Teams.
If Scan Group Members within Teams have not been assigned to a Scan yet, a message indicates that some Axe Monitor® functionality is unavailable and to contact the system administrator.
Self-registered axe Monitor® Users (Guest)
Self-registered Users are designated at the scan group level and can only view scans they have created or been granted access to by the Scan Group Administrator. Guests with access to scans through a Team can create scans, view Scan Overview, Issues, and Pages, and export and edit Pages and Issues for those scans. They cannot delete Issues and Pages from scan results. They can also add scans to Teams and view the Teams.
If these users do not have access to any Scans yet, the following message appears, “Some Axe Monitor® functionality is unavailable because no scans have been created in the system."
