The axe Account Portal allows a single user to be part of multiple enterprises. The Enterprise Switcher lets you easily move between them without logging into separate accounts. The active enterprise determines which subscriptions, user management, axe Configuration settings, and more are presented.

Always confirm which enterprise is active before taking any action. Actions such as creating test runs, managing users, or linking issues are attributed to the active enterprise.

The Enterprise Switcher is only available in cloud-hosted environments. On-premises and private cloud installations are not supported.

Who This Applies To

You may belong to multiple enterprises if you are:

  • A consultant or agency user providing accessibility services to more than one client organization.
  • A member of a large organization where different business units or departments maintain separate enterprises.

Enterprise membership is managed by administrators. If you need access to an additional enterprise, contact your axe Account administrator.

Switching Your Active Enterprise

  1. Log in to the axe Account Portal.
  2. Open the enterprise dropdown in the top navigation bar.
  3. Select the enterprise you want to switch to. The page will reload with the selected enterprise as your active context.

If you have the same product open in multiple browser tabs, each tab may show a different enterprise context based on when it was loaded. Refreshing the tab will reflect the most recently selected enterprise.

Joining an Additional Enterprise

axe Account Portal admins can add users to their enterprise. To be added to one:

  1. Ask the administrator of that enterprise to send you an invitation from the User Management page.
  2. Accept the invitation link in the email you receive.
  3. Once accepted, the new enterprise is available in the Enterprise Switcher and becomes your active enterprise.

Accepting an invitation no longer removes you from your existing enterprises.

For Administrators

In the axe Account Portal, Admin permissions are scoped to the active enterprise. You should switch to the correct enterprise before managing users, billing, or configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

I do not see the Enterprise Switcher in the navigation bar. Why?

The Enterprise Switcher only appears when your account belongs to more than one enterprise. Contact your axe Account administrator if you believe you should have access to additional enterprises.

Will switching my enterprise affect my colleagues?

No. Your active enterprise selection is personal to your account and session only.

A product is still showing data from my previous enterprise after I switched. Why?

Tabs that were open before you switched will continue to show the previous enterprise context until refreshed. A full page reload should resolve this.

I took action in the wrong enterprise. What do I do?

Some actions such as creating test runs or linking issues cannot be automatically undone. Contact helpdesk@deque.com for assistance.

Can I remove myself from an enterprise?

Yes. Contact your axe Account administrator or email helpdesk@deque.com to request removal from an enterprise. Once removed, you will no longer see that enterprise in the Enterprise Switcher and will lose access to its subscriptions and data.
