Delete Audit Data

Axe Reports provides the administrators with the ability to delete unwanted audit data from the system. This may be needed in very few cases where incomplete or invalid data was imported from the source system.

In order to delete audit data from axe Reports:

  1. Log in to axe Reports with your administrator credentials and go to the Configure section on the left-hand corner of the screen and select Audit Data. Ensure that the product selected is axe Auditor. You will see a list of test cases for a specific audit data.

  2. Use the available filters to locate the audits or test cases you want to delete.

    • Start Date: Filters audit data imported on or after the specified date.
    • End Date: Filters audit data imported on or before the specified date.
    • Test Case Name: Filters test cases associated with the selected audit data.

    You can reset all filters at once using the Reset Filters link to return to the default view.

  3. After applying the filters, the relevant audit data will be displayed. Active filters will be shown on the screen, and you can remove any filter by clicking the close button. To clear all filters at once, use the clear filters link.

  4. Navigate through the Manage Audit Data table using the page controls at the bottom to find the audit data you wish to delete.

  5. For the chosen audit data, click the Delete button to initiate the deletion process.

  6. A confirmation pop-up will appear with the message, "Once you delete audit data, there is no going back. Please be certain.". Click Yes to confirm the deletion or No to cancel the action.
