axe DevTools Extension Transition to Manifest V3

The axe DevTools Extension is transitioning to Manifest V3. The v4.80.1 release is the official Manifest V3 release and will be rolled out first to Edge on May 7, 2024 and subsequently to Chrome on May 14, 2024.

• If you currently get the axe DevTools Extension from the Chrome web store and have automatic updates, you do not need to take further action.
• If you do not get automatic updates or get your extension from Deque, you must upgrade to the Manifest V3 version of the extension by June 2024.

After June, Google will start disabling Manifest V2 extensions. Stay tuned for a follow-up email soon with the exact version of the Manifest V3 axe DevTools Extension.
